I absolutely love this thing. Highly recommend.
I rode both a Trance and a Tallboy prior to purchasing the Hal Boost, and honestly I like the Hal Boost 29er more. I also briefly rode my friends nomad, which seemed comparable. All this talk about "aged" geometry is completely bogus. I think the bike is perfect, attacks the hills great, and takes on aggressive single track downhill with ease.
